1716. Mary Emma Skillman was born on 20 May 1844 in Hopewell, Mercer, NJ. She died on 14 February 1937 at the age of 92.

Mary Emma Skillman and Ralph Ege were married on 18 October 1864 in Hopewell, Mercer, NJ. Ralph Ege, son of Andrew Ege and Sarah Ann Voorhees, was born on 22 November 1837 in Hopewell, Mercer, NJ. He was born in the house erected about 1715 by Dr. Roger Parke, "on the north side of Stony Brook at Wissamenson." A part of the 400 acre tract was purchased by Samuel Ege. (Andrew Smith Descendants) He was an organizer in 1877 at Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Hopewell, Mercer, NJ. He died on 7 August 1905 at the age of 67. His publications include Pioneers of Old Hopewell published by in 1908. Ralph was an Elder at First Presbyterian Church in Pennington, Mercer, NJ. He was Superintendent of Sabbath School for 40 years..
