1713. Charles Augustus Skillman was born on 16 December 1827 in Hopewell, Mercer, NJ. He was educated Law Degree in 1848 at Princeton Univ. in Princeton, Mercer, NJ. Between 1858 and 1863 he was a Prosecuting Attorney in Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery, PA. Charles was a Lawyer in Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery, PA. Admitted to N.J. Bar 1851 Opened law office in Lambertville in 1852. He was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lambertville, Hunterdon, NJ.

Charles Augustus Skillman and Sarah Ann Skillman were married on 2 March 1854 in Ringoes, Hunterdon, NJ. Sarah Ann Skillman, daughter of Abraham Stryker Skillman and Sarah Ann Williamson, was born on 11 June 1836. She died in 1918 at the age of 82. She was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lambertville, Hunterdon, NJ.

3866	i.	Ida Stryker Skillman was born about 1855. She died in 1856 at the age of 1. She was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lambertville, Hunterdon, NJ.
3867	ii.	Charles Hervey Skillman was born on 19 July 1857 in Lambertville, Hunterdon, NJ. He died on 11 February 1908 at the age of 50 in Chicago, Cook, IL. He was a Lawyer. Admitted to N. J. bar in June, 1879. Practiced with father several years, then in business in Phla., Pa. Charles was educated at State Model School in Trenton, Mercer, NJ. He was educated at Law Dept., Lafayette College in Easton, Northampton, PA. He was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lambertville, Hunterdon, NJ.
