In 1920 he was an accountant at his own business. He died on 1 May 1932 at the age of 67 in Baltimore (Independent City), Baltimore, MD. He died at the home of Arthur M. Pfieffer (son-in-law.) Robert was buried on 2 May 1932 at Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville, MD. He is buried in the Tucker Family Plot.

Pfeiffer and their children. Florence Wilhelmina Tucker, daughter of John T. Tucker and Amelia Brown, was born in July 1867 in Maryland. She died on 15 May 1948 at the age of 80 in Baltimore (Independent City), Baltimore, MD. She died at the home of Arthur M. Pfieffer (son-in-law.) She was buried on 18 May 1948 at Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville, MD.
