He lived Electrician. at 317 East Blanche Street in Linden, Union, NJ on 7 September 1935. Leroy died on 21 December 2003 at the age of 90 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, Ocean, NJ. Leroy F. Skillman, 90, of Brick and Boynton Beach, Florida, died Sunday, December 21, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. He was an electrician for Local 400 IBEW, Wall, for many years, retiring several years ago. He was a member of the St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church, Brick and the Local 400 IBEW Retirees Club. He was also a boat captain for several years out of Bogans Brielle Basin. Born in Roselle, he lived in Brick most of his life. He also maintained a winter residence in Boynton Beach.

He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Coon Skillman, in 1955. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Catherine Morhart Skillman; a son, Robert of Brick; two daughters, Claire Moynihan of Manasquan, and Elizabeth Ciarcia of New Hampshire; a brother, Preston Skillman of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick. A funeral service will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9 a.m. at St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church, Brick. Interment will be private. Donations to St. Dominic's Church would be appreciated. He had Social Security Number 143-01-1974.

Catherine Elizabeth Morhart, daughter of Adam Morhart and Catherine Hoffman, was born in 1908 in Elizabeth, Union, NJ. Catherine Morhart Manhardt Skillman, of Brick, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Sunnyside Manor. She was 102 years old. Catherine was born in Elizabeth to Catherine (Hoffman) and Adam Morhart. She was a parishioner of St. Michael Church and served as president of the Altar Rosary Society and the Woman's Auxiliary and served on the Parish Executive Board. She moved to Brick in 1956 and became a parishioner of St. Dominic's Church. She served there as president of their Altar Rosary Society and worked at the Friday afternoon Bingo. She had been employed by the Singer Manufacturing Company, Elizabeth.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Frederick Manhardt, her second husband Leroy Skillman, a grandson, Dennis Moynihan; and her twin brother, Charles. She is survived by a son Robert Skillman and his wife Kim of Brick; a daughter, Claire Moynihan and her husband Raymond of Manasquan; a daughter Elizabeth Ciarcia and her husband Joseph of New Hampshire, 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her cousin Gertrude; and a dear friend, Mary Gross. Visiting hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 23 at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday, May 24 at St. Dominic's Church, Brick. Burial in will private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Dominic's Church, Old Squan Road, Brick, NJ 08724 or Sunnyside Manor, 2501 Ramshorn Drive, Manasquan, NJ 08736. She was buried 10 a.m. Monday, 23 May 2010.
