5691. Lloyd Frank Skillman was born on 15 February 1880 in Jerseyville, Jersey, IL. 1920 Census of son Harry has birth place as Missouri. He died Pluritic Abscess from infection resulting from fall? on 1 October 1913 at the age of 33 in Harrison, Vernon, MO. Pluritic Abscess and Infection resulting there from the cause of abscess was due to an injury having been strike by a baseball and was not tubercular.

Mo. Death Cert. no. 35193 He was buried on 2 October 1913 in Deuyswood, Garland, KS. Find-a-Grave has him buried in Deepwood Cem., Nevada, Vernon, MO.

Lloyd Frank Skillman and Lota May Schwarzkopf were married. Lota May Schwarzkopf, daughter of Edward Schwarzkopf and Annie Bell, was born in 1885 in Oregon. She appeared in the census in 1910 at 48 Burnette St. in Renton, King, WA. In the 1910 Census she and son Harry were living with Chas. and Ella Doons/Dooks and Wm. Ball. She died when fire destroyed the hotel and killed her and her son, Harry on 28 April 1913 at the age of 28 at The Central Hotel in Renton, King, WA. TWO DIE IN HOTEL FIRE AT RENTON, NEAR SEATTLE.

SEATTLE, April 28-The Central Hotel at Renton, a coal mining town near Seattle, was destroyed by fire early today, and Mrs. Loto Skillman, a waitress, aged 28, and her son Harry, aged 6, were burned to death.  
W.L. Canfield and William Johnson, laborers, were severely burned and were taken to the hospital.  Mrs. Skillman was the wife of Lloyd Skillman, formerly a pitcher of the San Francisco club in the Pacific Coast Baseball League.   They had been separated, and Mrs. Skillman was supporting herself and child.
