362. Mahalia/Mahala Skillman was born on 8 August 1801. She appeared in the census in 1860 in Princeton, Mercer, NJ. In the 1860 Census she is living with Debertha(sp?) A., 25, Emma, 23, William, 22, and William C. Davis, 6. The three females were waitresses at a diner and Wm. a laborer. She appeared in the census in 1870 in Princeton, Mercer, NJ. In the 1870 Census She was living with William Voorhees, 16 and 4 members of the Spring/Sprong family.

In the 1880 Census, I could find no trace of Mahala, William or Debertha(Deborah). Mahalia/Mahala appeared in the census in 1880 in Princeton, Mercer, NJ. In the 1880 Census she is widowed and her daughter Emma Sprong and her 3 children are living with her. She died before 1901 at the age of 100. She was buried at Kingston Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Kingston, Somerset, NJ. Her SOA Number is 60 i.
