Bride Picked by Dying Wife.

Wedding of W.F. Skillman and Mrs. C.A. Bullock announced.

Pennington, N.J. - June 17 - W.F. Skillman, of Trenton, has kept the promise made to his dying wife several years ago, that if he should wish to take another life companion he should ask the hand of Mrs. Charles A. Bullock, then of the same place. Mrs. Bullock accepted Mr. Skillman and they were married a week ago in the parlors of the junior house at the seminary, where Mrs. Bullock has been house mother. The ceremony was performed by the Reverend Dr. J. Morgan Read, president of the institution.

The wedding was to have taken place this afternoon. But as it was learned on Wednesday last that Dr. Read would be unable to be present at that time, it was decided to have the knot tied on Thursday last. The secret was kept until today when announcements were sent out. Rosa Ann Barker, daughter of John Barker and Jane Cox, was born in 1859 in England.
