Norman R. Marlin, age 88, of Newark, DE passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2008.

Mr. Marlin was a bricklayer for the Duont Company for 22 years, a member of the American Legion Post #184, Wildwood, NJ and an Army veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his sons, Norman R. Marlin, Jr., of Wildwood, NJ, Charles S. Marlin, of Lompoc, CA; his daughters, Mary Ann Clarke, of Newark, DE, Dorothy E. Marlin of Millsboro, dE; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 23 at 11: 20 am at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 LImestone Road, Pike Creek, where friends may call on Monday evening from 6-8 pm. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Disabled American Veterans, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE, 19805.
