She died on 2 June 1963 at the age of 65 in Long Branch, Monmouth, NJ. LONG BRANCH -- Mrs. Madeline Slocum of 106 Garfield Ct., widow of Frank R. Slocum, died yesterday in Monmouth Medical Center.
Born in Woodside, L.I., Mrs. Slocum had lived here 35 years. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Sheridan Ludwig.
Mrs. Slocum was a communicant of Star of the Se Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sons, Frank D. Slocum of Arcadia, Fla., and Thomas Slocum of this place; a daughter, Mrs. Allan Noble of San Antonio, Fla.; a brother, John T. Ludwig of Monmouth Beach, and three grandchildren.
Services will be tomorrow at 9 a.m. in Star of the Sea Church where a Requiem Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch, under direction of the Damiano funeral Home.
