4939. Margaret Irene Rice was born on 20 October 1921 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, OH. She died on 13 January 2013 at the age of 91 at Homewood Residence in Richmond Heights, Cuyahoga, OH. Margaret I. (Rice) Whitright, age 91, of Chardon, died Jan. 13, 2013, at The Homewood of Richmond Heights.

Born Oct. 20, 1921, in Cleveland, she had lived in Wickliffe before moving to Chardon in 1949.

Mrs. Whitright was a meat wrapper for Golden Dawn, retiring in 1977.
She is survived by her children, Dawn Whitright of South Euclid and Curt (Janet) Whitright of Munson Township; grandchildren, Cheryl (Matt) Lertwiler of Concord Township, Brian (Beth) Whitright of Thompson Township and Shona Cathan of Munson Township; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Joshua Leutwiler and Austin and Aiden Whitright, Cloe, Bailey and Liam Cathan; and great-great-granddaughter, Katrina.

Her husband, Paul E. Whitright, whom she married Oct. 24, 1942, preceded her in death Dec. 20, 2001. Her parents, Hugh and Edna (Skillman) Rice, also are deceased.

Private graveside services were held.
Arrangements are being handled by Burr Funeral Home in Chardon.

Margaret Irene Rice and Paul E. Whitright were married on 24 October 1942. Paul E. Whitright was born in July 1916. He died on 20 December 2001 at the age of 85.
