Reverend Samuel L. Snodgrass died at Good Samaritan Hospital on May 17, 2012 at the age of 91. As a sergeant in the army, he took part in the Normandy Invasion during World War II. He graduated from Brooklyn College and General Theological Seminary. In 1957, he married Callie Adeline Tinder, who precedeased him, as did his son, Michael Francis. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Theresa and Catherine Anastasia of Stony Point, New York. A wake will be held from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Saturday, May 19th at St. John In the Wilderness Church, Johnsontown Road, Harriman State Park, Stony Point, New York.
