443. David Comfort Skillman was born on 12 August 1796 in Kingston, Somerset, NJ. He died on 13 October 1875 at the age of 79. He was named after Miss Jane Comfort. From SOA: Miss Jane Comfort, dau. of the Kingston Minister (Presby.) for whom he was named, was a schoolmate of David and his sister Mary. His SOA Number is 133. David was buried at Asbury Cemetery in Catawba, Clark, OH. He was a tailor in Springfield, Clark, OH. From SOA:

David Comfort Skillman and Sarah C. Carey were married on 14 October 1818 in Clark Co., OH. Sarah C. Carey, daughter of Abraham Carey, was born in 1802 in Cincinnati, Hamilton, OH. She died in 1888 at the age of 86. She was buried at Asbury Cemetery in Catawba, Clark, OH.
