Funderal services for H.H. VAn Loan, 71, writer, will be conducted today at 1 p.m. in Pierce Brothers Little County Chapel, followed by interment in Valhalla Memorial Park. Mr. Van Loan died at his home, 6904 Radford Avenue North Hollywood, Monday.

He was at one time a foreign correspondent and night editor of the New York Sun. Mr. Van Loan was a member of the Screen Writers Guild. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Bozena Van Loan; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Welinek, and three grandchildren. Los Angeles Times, 11/28/1956. He was buried on 28 November 1956 at Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery in North Hollywood, CA.
