Services for Carl R. "Sonny" Skillman, 57, of the Skyline District, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Fair Havens Baptist Church in Spring Valley. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. He died Friday in a hospital.
Mr. Skillman was born in Virginia and lived in the county 22 years. He had been a salesman for Automatic Retailers of America. Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline; a son, Dwight Daniel of San Diego; five daughters, Sue Myers of Arkansas, Tammy Walkowiak of Sun City and Lu Ann Miranda, Terry Raymond and Carol Estrada, all of San Diego; and 12 grandchildren.

SKILLMAN, JACQUELINE CAROL Our loving mother left us to be with our Lord and Savior on September 3, 2010. Our lives will never be the same. She touched the lives of everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Sonny of 35 years and her beautiful 42 year old daughter Tammy. She is survived by her daughters Sue Baker (Shane), LuAnn Miranda (Dominic), Terry Raymond (Reese), Tammy Walkowiak (Paul), and Carol Estrada (Rogelio Jr.) and her Loving son Dwight Daniel (Helen) and sister Artist Menks, 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 13th, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Garden Chapel followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery.
