SANTA FE - Mr. David Henry Skillman passed from this life Wednesday, January 15, 2014, in Santa Fe.
Born October 1, 1955 in Alvin, Mr. Skillman had been a longtime resident of Galveston County. David had worked as a fork lift operator/carpenter for the past 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Alton “Peck” and Mary B. (Travis) Skillman. Survivors include his brothers, Alton “Al” Frank Skillman, Lynn Dale Skillman both of Santa Fe; sister, June Wyatt of Alvin; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014, at Alta Loma Cemetery, with Minister Charlie Rollo officiating.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Crisco, Sleepy Tom Dawson, Jasper Maniscalco, Rick Skillman, Steven Skillman and Kenneth Yancey.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
