147. Benjamin Skillman was born on 4 May 1776 in Amwell, Hunterdon, NJ. He died on 21 May 1829 at the age of 53. He was buried at West Branch Mill Creek Cemetery in Bevis Colerain Twp., Hamilton, OH. His SOA Number is 27. Came to Miami valley with family, but moved to a farm in Colerain Township.

Benjamin Skillman and Nancy Bevis were married about 1798. Nancy Bevis was born in 1774 in Pennsylvania. She was living in 1860 in Colerain Twp., Hamilton, OH. Living with grandson, Jonathan, in 1860 census. She died on 28 April 1861 at the age of 87. Nancy was buried at West Branch Mill Creek Cemetery in Bevis Colerain Twp., Hamilton, OH. Find-a-Grave also lists her as bur. Millcreek Valley Baptist Cem.
