145. Isaac Obediah Skillman was born in 1770 in Amwell, Hunterdon, NJ. He died on 25 September 1830 at the age of 60 in Liberty, Union, IN. His SOA Number is 26. Came to Miami Valley with father, brothers and his own family. He soon went to Liberty, Indiana, where he settled permanently.

From SOA:
...about 1795, with entire family (three younger brothers), or even preceding them, perhaps, he migrated from Amwell Township, Hunterdon Co., N. J., across the Delaware River into Pennsylvania, near Allentown, by tradition, or "some German settlement near the Alleghenny Mountains." Separating from the others, with his growing family, he possibly journeyed to the extreme western line of the State, but eventually brought up (joining the others) as a pioneer in the Miami Valley at Glendale, near Cincinnati- but he did not remain there. He soon took his family to Union Co., Ind., and there settled permanently near Liberty; a farmer.

317	vi.	David Skillman was born about 1803. He was buried in June 1852 at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, Fulton, IL. He died drowned on 3 June 1852 at the age of 49 in Mill Creek. His SOA Number is 26 vii.
