Lynne Payto (Merri-Lynne Skillman), 57, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at her home in Brecksville.
Lynne was a talented artist and an extremely creative individual whose love of nature and people set her apart. Devoted to her family and friends, she will be remembered as an extremely playful spirit who enjoyed being near water, traveling, and reveling in God's creation.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 35 years, Jerry; daughters, Kara (Andrew) Good of Dalton, Ohio, and Kelli Payto of Lakewood, Ohio; grandson, Brendan Good; stepfather, Charles Haake of Hudson; along with many dear and wonderful friends.
Family and close friends will be holding a private memorial service.
For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, 714 N. Portage Path, Akron, Ohio 44303, in memory of Lynne Payto. Donations received will be used for a memorial in her honor; a place where we can visit her often and thousands can appreciate her beauty.
She is now at peace, somewhere over the rainbow, resting in God's arms.
